This was over 2 weeks ago and what I ended up doing was replacing the motherboard power supply and processor and I. Power down the computer and unplug the charger. Then remove the battery only if it is a removable one.

If your PC wont turn on but motherboard light is on a potential culprit is the power button on the case itself or the wires connecting that button to the motherboard. Check to see if your motherboard has an onboard power button.
