Positive battery terimanl has fuse. What does the fuse on the positive battery cable do. So fuse has no sense. Some cars have battery disconnect explosive charge terminal connected with airbag sensor.
It disconnects battery if you crash car to prevent sparking an fire after incident. ServiceTitan is built to grow your electrical business. There is no fuse on that cable.
Main positive cable supply electrical starter. This electric motor use 100 to 300 amps almost as short circuit. So fuse has no sense.

There should be two heavy white wires that attach to the positive side of the battery one goes to fuse box for power distribution the other is the return from alt.
There is also a 60 amp alt fuse in fuse box under hood. Make sure connections are clean and tight or battery wont charge. The fuses are placed in the positive lines from the battery and close to the battery.
If a fault occurs on the line between the fuse and the load the fuse blows and current flow stops. A ground fault on the return line is unlikely to cause any problems as. I used a simple metal bracket bolted it under the main fuse holder on the positive terminal and bent it up and around the plastic.
Only minor modification to the plastic shielding was necessary in order for it to lay flush. This let me connect my 4ga power wire directly to the positive terminal with a 100A inline fuse 8 away. The normal requirement is to fuse each string one 12 volt battery 2x 6 volt batteries in series 8x 6 volt batteries for a 48 volt bank etc should have one fuse to limit the maximum current to that of the rating of the wire if your cable is rated for 250 amps then you should have a.
Fuse on Positive Battery Lead - Multiplus II 48v 3000 The Quick Install Guide for the MultiPlus II suggests a fuse. I carefully cut all my cables throughout the 8-battery array including the parallel leads and the battery leads the same length. I begrudgingly replaced the super-fuse.

Begin from the alternator side and cut and solder splice one fuse lead to the alternator harness. On the battery side you can re-use the ring terminal wire connection by cut and solder splice to the other lead wire of the fuse holder. Insulate the solder splices with quality heat shrink and install a fuse.
If that is connected to the positive terminal as indicated in the post heading and the picture 10A fuse has not blown it is hot - suggest pulling the fuse to disable any possibility of the exposed terminal grounding. That theoretically would blow the fuse anyway but its best to avoid any possible problem with sparking etc. Thought Id check the battery terminals this morning.
On my 2007 35S12. Absolutely covered in yellow creamy stuff like vaseline gone sour. Also white crystalline stuff.
Also green crystalline stuff all around the battery mounting bolt. Easy I thought - Ill just clean it. Of course as soon as I started to undo the nut the terminal snapped.
Converts your positive battery post into three outlets with fuse protection. Perfect for 4WDs and caravans where multiple accessories or dual battery systems are in use. 3 way distribution Makes a professional and practical installation for distributing power.
Fully insulated cap Prevents accidental short circuits. Its usually installed at the positive battery terminal or in the fuse box connected to the battery positive cable. Often the main fuse blows when accidentally touching the wrong battery terminal when boosting a dead battery.

For the positive side. Battery terminal power wire fuse holder for the negative side. Battery terminal ground wire and ive found these to use for ring terminals.
Let me know what you think. I would absolutely love your advice with this because ive never rewired something this critical before. The most ive done is wiring for the speakers.

The other I DONT KNOW. Trace the positive usually red back to the battery. This is trickier as it will go through a switch and circuit breaker or fuse boxin addition to a terminal or two.
Is there more to it. A bulb has no polarity and can be wired up with either one of the other terminal wires leading to either battery terminalit doesnt matter. Discussion Starter 1 10 mo ago.
I had to replace the battery and the positive terminal only as the corrosion ate through the terminal. I removed the old terminal from the positive cable fuse box cleaned everything attached the new terminal and Ive been good to go.
