And never once had an issue with it. Until I got on the water for the first time and went to deploy from my wireless remote and then I got nothing. Only difference is that the Pro series II has the phone app which allows for a little more settings than the sportsman II.
The speed of the 2 poles is the same. I have a family member with 2 of the pro series II and I compared my sportsman II to his pro series II and only found the difference in the phone app and mounting bracket.
